The Neighbourhood are a group of five friends, which formed in August of 2011. They’re headed by Rutherford, a 21-year-old singer dabbled in various genres, including hip-hop, before crafting the merge of sounds that categorizes The Neighbourhood’s style. A style that combines elements of rock with R&B and hip-hop. "Let It go", which is on their new and upcoming album call I Love You, is about letting things go and letting things roll off your back according to Rutherford. He said. "I think it's something we have to learn as human beings - the ability to take something negative in, digest it, and move on. It doesn't mean to forget about it. It doesn't mean let it take you over. Just living with it and functioning still". You can find more of The Neighbourhood on their website: http://thenbhd.com/. -JR
